New Mexico Woman Busted for Attacking Her Boyfriend With Knives and a Chainsaw After Tying Him Up Inside His Car

A woman was arrested for allegedly the alleged use of knives and a chainsaw to stab and cut her boyfriend, all after tying him up inside of his own car.

30-year-old Kayla Martinez Bailey, is said to have attacked her 23-year-old boyfriend in Las Cruces, New Mexico on November 28th.

The boyfriend received numerous stab wounds, two bite wounds, and two lacerations from the chainsaw.

Cops were called after a witness saw two people struggling inside of a car.

The victim told cops that Ms. Bailey had wanted to spend time with him that night, so they drove to a nearby park.

He says she then climbed into the backseat and tied his hands behind his back with zip ties.

Then, according to the victim, she drove back to her house and got a chainsaw, threatening him with it.

She then drove roughly a block from her house and stabbed him repeatedly.

Authorities found large amounts of blood inside the car.

Bailey tried to run from the scene, but was arrested a short time later. She had blood on her pants and hands.

The motive for the alleged attack remains unclear.

There’s no indication that the chainsaw was running during the attack.

She’s been charged with kidnapping, 11 counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and two counts of battery against a household member.

She’s now in jail in lieu of a $50,000 cash-only bond.
