KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Police have arrested four adults and a juvenile in connection with an incident recorded by a security camera in which two masked and armed suspects attempted to force their way into a Killeen woman’s home.
The attempted break-in was reported just after 1 a.m. on Nov. 18 in the 2200 block of Fieldstone Drive in Killeen.
The two suspects were evidently scared off by the resident’s dogs and were gone by the time officers arrived, but police spotted two suspicious vehicles in the area and made contact with the occupants, authorities said.
“The incident was recorded on the home owner’s video surveillance system, and during their contact with the occupants of the vehicles the officers were able to locate weapons as well as clothing items worn by the suspects in the video,” police said in a press release Wednesday.
Officers arrested Gjavion Smith-Williams, 17, Davieon Reed, 22, Jamal Marbury, Jr., 18, Daquan Lavant, 18, and a juvenile whose name was not released.
The four adults remained in the Bell County Jail Wednesday in lieu of $100, 000 bonds charged with aggravated robbery.
