A police officer rescued five children who were left in a hotel room surrounded by needles and drugs.

An arrest warrant Channel 2’s Ross Cavitt obtained said police responded after a call of a disturbance at an Extended Stay hotel on the 2000 block of Roswell Road in Marietta.

Police said they knocked on the door and were let in on Monday at 12:13 a.m.

Police found a couple, Sanchez Torone Lampkin and Tiffany Nicole Mathis, and five children in the small room, which was “in complete disarray.”
