Yesterday my boyfriend and I along with his friends were approached and threatened by a very large white man with a 2by4 and none of us said I hate "hunkies" honestly I have never used that word in my life but every time one of you see one of us do something wrong we are ALL niggers. I you want to hate anyone hate your ancestors bc they are the ignorant assholes who brought us here! They are the lazy bastards who wanted black men and women to take care of their homes and their children! To this day more white people follow our customs listen to what is called our music and eat meals that we taught them to make! Don't get it twisted its never ok to put your hands on someone that hasn't touched you bitnj just saw a video of a WHITE bus driver beat a BLACK man bc he asked too many questions! I want to give some advice to all of you that seem to be so scared of young African-americans. I'm a white man in my 40's and I live in a city with a large numbers of African-americans. About two years ago I was badly beaten by a group of African-american young men. I was hospitalized for almost six weeks recovering from my injuries. Mostly severe lacerations, contusions, eye and ear injuries, but also serious dental damage. But I learned something important from my experience. Before the young men began fighting with me I had crossed the street to avoid them. That was a mistake. Now I take a different approach. If I'm walking on the street and see a group of African-americans coming toward me, I approach them directly. I usually turn my baseball cap sideways and I'll loosen the belt on my trousers and allow them to sag down. Then I'll approach the group and with a sincere smile I'll say "Yo. How are you dogs today?". This shows them that you're not a hater. At that point, I'll usually engage them in some good-natured conversation. They're normally very excited to talk about their hip-hop music and basketball players. Sometimes we will listen to their music, dance a bit and joke. That way I've made some friends AND avoided a brutal beating. It's a pretty simple example of showing these young men respect. Try that next time instead of yelling at them on the bus.

What a bunch of liberal suck ups! We should learn something about black culture and respect that they can be violent, so that whites stand a better chance of not being raped, beaten or robbed? I don't know why Rosa Parks made such a big deal out of it, they all still sit in the back by choice nowadays, anyway.

The negative comments toward me are rude and probably racist. Why is everyone making such a big deal about the young African-american slapping this elderly bus driver? This kind of thing happens every day. Did it ever occur to any of you that maybe the bus driver was rude and disrespectful to these young people? We are all different, but we are all equal. African-americans can be extremely violent. They can also be the most wonderful people on earth. I hear a lot of people complain that African-americans are lazy and generally dim witted. Well that's a matter of opinion. My point is that if you treat all the African-americans with respect and decency then there's a good chance that you will not be beaten, raped or robbed. That bus driver could have spoken to the young men about the black experience. He could have made friends with them, ask them about Tupac or comment that he fully supports President Obama. That kind of thing goes a long way toward defusing these kind of tense public interactions with African-americans. We live in a multi-cultural society. There's a lot that non-blacks need to learn in order to be fully accepted and respected by the African-americans.

There is a bias in the media tho, only airing white on black crime stories and not the other way around.
